March 14, 2009 Hood River Waterfront Park Spring Splash This fundraiser for Phase 2 of Waterfront Park construction will be held at The Pines Tasting Room-2nd/State. Tickets are $25 each. There will be live music, appetizers and no-host wine and beer.
March 27, 2009 Columbia Center for the Arts Kevin Burke and Cal Scott- Afternoon Fiddle & Guitar workshops 5:00-6:30 and a live Concert at 7:00 pm at the Columbia Center for the Arts
April 4, 2007 Cathedral Ridge Annual Barrel Tasting Party 6:00-9:00pm Held every April, this is an exciting event featuring live music, food and barrel tastings. This year tasting barrel samples and offering futures of 2007 Rock Star Red, 2007 Syrah Reserve, 2007 Zinfandel Reserve and 2007 Chardonnay Reserve. Space is limited, so RSVP soon! $10/person ($15/person at the door) for wine club members

April 18-19, 2009 Blossom Festival This annual event includes many activities and sights to see. Drive the Fruit Loop to view the many orchards in bloom. Visit the Blossom Craft Fair and Quilt show in Odell at the County Fairgrounds. Stop by the Apple Valley Store for their annual dessert party.

Oh, I love springtime in the Gorge! I live in Sandy but have had wonderful opportunities to decorate a model home and a vacation home in nearby Mosier. I love my trips out there. Thanks for posting the events. Time to head out there again!
