Leolinda and Dinah Lee, This is a fun road to drive, part of the historic scenic columbia gorge highway. Thanks for commenting.

Amy, I've been there!!! It's amazing.

And Leolinda has the right idea about the kind of car to drive.

Amy:  I used to know a girl named Rowena Loops.  She was a really strange one.  Kinda went in circles... she did.  Seriously... what a cool looking road.  I sure wouldn't want to try it after an extra glass of White Zinfandel, uh uh... not me.  Thanks for sharing...

I was guessing Colorado until I saw you are in Oregon.  I bet it's the Rock Mountains though.

Andrew- yes, it would be especially fun in a convertible.

Karen Anne- what a funny coincidence to have a name like that.

Richard- the Columbia River Gorge actually cuts through the Cascade Mountain range. This road is on the eastern-dry side of Oregon in Wasco County

Reminds me of a road around Lake Tahoe (CA side)

Amy,

This is an example of how to build a road on a very small footprint - no wasted space here. :)
