Located on the westside of Hood River out Post Canyon Rd. are some very popular bike riding trails. Many people ride these trails and they are also enjoyable for hiking or jogging. The trails are in a forested setting with many trees- fir, oak, cedar, maple and more. A small creek flows along much of the trail with wildflowers blooming this time of year. A series of bridges and crossings have been built in various places along the trail for those who want a challenge. Here is additional info on the Post Canyon Trail system in Hood River Oregon.

I love Oregon because of all the hiking and biking trails we have here! We have one of the most beautiful places on Earth and I don't see me ever leaving. Maybe Montana just because I want lots of land and no building restrictions.
Hi Amy, looks like a very scenic and peaceful place to spend the day. Beautiful photos!
It is beautiful. If you're walking on the trail you do need to keep a watch for the bikers and stay out of their way.
