Vista House is located at Crown Point. It was created in 1920 as a memorial to Oregon's pioneers and a resting place for travelers. The architectural style is German "Art Nouveau". It has been designated as a National Historic Landmark and is enjoyed by millions of visitors annually. Vista house was restored both inside and out starting in 1994, with exterior restoration including a new glazed green tile roof installed over a protective dome membrane in 2002.
