Hood River County Home Sales- October 2009

Here are the home sales in Hood River County for October 2009.  This information is from the RMLS and includes listed property sales only-no FSBO's. There were 12 total residential home sales for the month of October compared to 21 home sales in  September 2009  in Hood River County. There are currently 42 homes sale pending in escrow in Hood River County. Although closed sales were lower this month to date, sale pendings are up. There were 29 homes sale pending the end of Sept 2009.

Hood River Harvest Festival 2009

The annual Hood River Valley Harvest Festival starts today. It will be held October 16-18, 2009 at the Hood River Event Site along the Columbia River waterfront.

The Harvest Fest will be held in outdoor tents at the Events Site overlooking the Columbia River again for the second year. There will be numerous art and craft vendors, fresh fruit-apples, pears and more, food booths, a beer tent and plenty of entertainment.  You will enjoy the view of kiters and surfers playing on the water as you listen to music and enjoy all the booths.

There will also be a Kid's Zone with a 20' climbing wall, bounce house, face painting, live music and more.
